Theoretical/Practical Trainer – Technician Level 1

IIS TECH s.r.l., a newly established company by the Italian Institute of Welding, is seeking a Theoretical/Practical Trainer to be based at the Perugia office.

The main activities are:

• theoretical/practical training and certification of welders
• theoretical/practical training of plastic pipe welders
• development and certification of welding procedures
• optimization of parameters and welded joint sequences in industrial production

Work Location:

The activity may be carried out at the Perugia office or on assignments at other locations in central Italy or at client sites; assignments may extend for several days.

Technical Skills:

• ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• possession of welder certification in one or more procedures

Candidate Characteristics:

The candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills.

Candidate Requirements:

• high school diploma with a technical focus or, alternatively, a three/five-year professional school qualification with a technical focus.
• knowledge of written and spoken English
• availability to attend specialization courses at the IIS Genoa or other IIS locations
• availability to undertake short and medium/short business trips
• residence in Perugia or in Central Italy

Work Experience:

At least five years of practical experience in welded fabrication.

Salary Range:

Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €27,000-€36,000
