About this role We are seeking an experienced Forklift Service Technician to join our team at Crown Tauranga. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by performing routine maintenance, repairs and inspections on forklifts and other material handling equipment. Key responsibilities include: • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire checks and brake adjustments • Conducting thorough inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment to identify any potential issues or defects • Carrying out repairs and rectifying faults in a timely and efficient manner • Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and providing them with accurate information about their equipment • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives. Requirements: • 2+ years of experience as a Forklift Service Technician • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair faults in forklifts and other material handling equipment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Physical stamina to lift, bend and move heavy objects • Valid driver’s license.
