Forklift Operator/Dispatch

Recruitment Select is currently seeking Forklift Operators to join our client's leading, state-of-the-art cardboard manufacturing facility in Wodonga. Our client offers exceptional working conditions, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness, safety, and employee well-being.

This position is initially offered on a casual basis, with the potential for transition into a full-time role for the right candidates. Applicants will be required to undergo a Police Check, Drugs and Alcohol and Medical Assessment as part of the onboarding process.

A Monday-Friday working week, shifts will be rotating between dayshift and afternoon shift, so you must have the capacity to work both. Competitive hourly rates, with overtime opportunities available after 8 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in machine operations & dispatch.
• Learning to operate machinery as training progresses.
• Performing repetitive tasks with a high level of focus and attention to detail.
• Operating a forklift to move materials, load/unload goods, and support production flow.
• Using a forklift for dispatch, unloading/ loading trucks ready for delivery.

*Please note that a high level of experience is required to be successful in the forklift role.

We also have casual on-call positions available for Process Work/Machine Operators. These roles are ideal for individuals with specific availability or those looking to pick up additional shifts during the week. The shifts for these roles include either the day shift (7am-3pm) or afternoon shift (3pm-11pm).
