Forklift Operator

As a leading company in recruitment, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Manukau. The role involves handling a variety of products, including large carpet rolls over three meters in length, which require specialised equipment. The use of both counterbalance and reach forklifts, including one-arm forklifts to efficiently move the large carpet rolls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance forklifts across two warehouses
• Use a one-arm forklift to safely transport large carpet rolls over three meters in length
• Load and unload products efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Assist with inventory management and stock organization
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times

What We Require:

• Valid forklift certification for counterbalance. Reach not required but preferred
• Proven experience operating forklifts, including one-arm forklifts (preferred)
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety
• F Endorsement (preferred but not required)
• Pre-employment drug screen & security check required
• NZ applicants must have NZ residency or a valid work permit
• Full NZ class 1 driver’s license
