As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts and other material handling equipment. Responsibility:
- Perform regular maintenance and inspection of forklifts to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Replace faulty components and perform necessary adjustments
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Forklift Mechanic or similar qualification
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing forklifts
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Salary: R180K/yr - R240K/yr, negotiable
