Forensic Spore Investigator

Eurofins TMFI performs various types of spore investigations. Many common are biological origin, think DNA, but also drug and finger prints come regularly. Often these prints are secured in cases such as burglaries and serious crimes, such as life-threatening offenses and sexual offenses.

To perform the spore investigation and further develop it, Eurofins TMFI is looking for a spore investigator who sets up research plans for (complex) spore investigations and brings them to fruition in the laboratory. In this role, you ensure correct recording of the research and administer it. As an active participant in the development of various disciplines of spore investigation, think for example about validating and implementing new methods in the laboratory and setting up and improving procedures and work instructions within the ISO-17025 accredited quality management system.
