Foreign Units Administration Accountant

This role will perform its duties on assignment at the site in Lagos, Nigeria. Mission: Ensure accurate administration, financial management, and cost control for the assigned site in Nigeria, in compliance with Group policies and local regulations. Support project teams and corporate functions in all AFC-related activities. Main Responsibilities: Accounting & Administration: Oversee local accounting processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Manage and control financial transactions, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Provide support to project teams in all AFC-related activities. Accounting & Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Analyze and interpret financial trends and patterns. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary. Cost Control: Monitor and control costs to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints. Identify and address any discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions. Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Analyze and interpret financial trends and patterns. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary. Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business decisions. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning. Provide support to project teams in all AFC-related activities. Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification required.
