Hotel: Legacy Airedale Hotel Auckland
Location: 380 Queen Street, Auckland CBD
Employment Type: Part-Time Fixed Term position.
Dates: Starting September 2026 - finishing 28 March 2027
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.
Wage Rate: $27 - $29 per hour

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of teams in the Food & Beverage department, including making sure team members understand their allocated tasks.
- Providing supervision, training and guidance to Food & Beverage Attendants.
- Greeting and seating guests. Taking orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Communicate daily specials, promotions, and relevant information to the team.
- Taking a proactive approach to sanitising and cleaning the restaurant.
- Collecting payments for sales and operating the point of sale system and cash register.
- 2-3 years of proven Food & Beverage experience
- An LCQ qualification and a relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field would be an advantage.
- Flexible in availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
