Fundraiser

For CuraMare, we are looking for a Fundraiser. Are you a driven networker with a heart for care? Do you find it inspiring to activate networks and bring projects to life that directly contribute to better care for patients? Then this challenge is something for you!

The Foundation Friends of the Van Weel-Bethesda Hospital has been working for over 17 years to make extra provisions possible that make a difference for patients. Think about modern equipment, innovative treatment methods or facilities that make staying in hospital more pleasant. The foundation wants to increase its visibility and impact. At the moment, there are two large projects on the agenda: the purchase of a second CT-scan, crucial for the continuity of acute care, and the introduction of robotic surgery, aimed at further improving quality and innovation in care.

As enthusiastic fundraiser, you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution here.

Your tasks

• You develop and implement a marketing and fundraising plan, focused on strengthening the Foundation.
• You increase visibility and support for the Foundation in the Goeree-Overflakkee and Voorne-Putten regions.
• You build a solid network of companies, organizations, and residents in the region.
• You organize actions and campaigns to recruit new 'Friends of'.
• You contribute to bringing together the financing for the mentioned hospital investments.
• You strengthen the supporting structure of the Foundation, so that continuity is secured.

You report to the board of the Foundation and work content-wise with the Communication Department of CuraMare.

Your profile

• You have demonstrable experience in fundraising, project management, and communication.
• You possess a sense of administrative relationships and interest balancing.
• You are able to turn initiatives into concrete results.
• You easily establish contact with companies, organizations, and residents.
• You are a connector between the Foundation's board and the hospital.
• You have affinity with the healthcare sector and with the regions of Goeree-Overflakkee, Voorne-Putten, and Schouwen-Duiveland.
• You are flexible in terms of availability and willing to work evenings and occasionally on Saturdays if requested from the network.
• You may be extra available during the start-up phase to get the first projects off the ground.
