Job description

We are seeking a professional and service-driven FOH Reservationist to join a leading luxury lodge operation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for guest service, and strong attention to detail. This position combines reservation management with ad hoc Front of House duties, requiring flexibility, initiative, and a polished, guest-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all guest reservations efficiently, including individual and group bookings.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences from booking to check-out.
Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and special requests.
Respond promptly to email and telephone enquiries with professionalism and product knowledge.
Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and guest hosting as part of Front of House responsibilities.
Support lodge management with administrative and operational duties as needed.
Ensure all guest information is handled with confidentiality and accuracy.
Maintain a welcoming and professional environment in guest-facing areas.

Requirements

Previous experience in a reservations or Front of House role within a lodge, hotel, or hospitality environment.
Strong administrative and computer skills (experience with reservation systems and Microsoft Office preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Customer-centric mindset with the ability to handle guest queries gracefully.
Professional presentation and a team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
