Flutter Developer (m/f/d) – Bling

Your Mission

As a Flutter Developer at Bling, you will contribute to taking our app to the next level and making family life even smarter with innovative features. As a dynamic startup with innovative solutions, we place great value on clean code, great design, and a modern, open work culture. You will work closely with our product and backend team to implement new features based on Figma designs with performant code, from technical implementation to release. Ultimately, your work will directly contribute to our app running smoothly for families across Germany.

Your Tasks

• Further development and improvement of our Android and iOS app at a high technical level – with Flutter and Dart.
• Close collaboration with the product and backend team to implement new features from idea to release.
• Implementation of fluid and appealing user interfaces based on Figma designs, with a focus on performance and user experience.
• Connection of backend APIs and participation in building a robust, scalable platform.
• Ensuring maintainable and well-tested code.
• Independent identification of potential for improvement – in the app (e.g., performance, technical debt, UX details) as well as in our development processes.
• Code reviews and continuous improvement of our development processes.

Your Profile

• You have practical experience in cross-platform app development with Flutter and Dart – ideally, you have already co-responsible for an app in production.
• Knowledge in at least one native mobile programming language such as Swift, Java, or Kotlin is an advantage.
• A good eye for detail: you notice when a spacing is off or an animation feels wrong.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles as well as experience with design tools like Figma.
• You work independently and don't just think in tickets, but bring in your own ideas and gladly take responsibility for the topics you work on.
• Experience with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) – we actively use them in our daily development routine.
• Confident communication in German and English.
