Fluidic Components Design Engineer
Job description
LHH We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fluidic Components Design Engineer (Middle Level) to join our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector. This position will focus on the design and lifecycle management of fluidic mechanical components within next-generation propulsion systems, ensuring technical excellence and collaboration across multiple departments. Responsibilities - Interpret system requirements and translate them into technical specifications for components like pumps, tanks, valves, filters, and heat exchangers. - Develop 2D and 3D technical designs, including cross-sections and tolerance stack-ups, to support analysis, manufacturing, and assembly processes. - Manage the design, analysis, and evaluation of components, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project deadlines. - Coordinate technical reviews with internal departments, suppliers, and external customers, while presenting findings to stakeholders. - Draft technical documentation, including analysis reports, design record books, and certification documents, in alignment with engineering policies. - Prepare and execute test plans, define pass/fail criteria, and analyze post-test data to ensure performance and reliability. - Collaborate with quality teams to resolve non-conformance issues and support component investigations and field performance assessments. Your Profile - Master's degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics or related STEM field from an accredited university - Robust knowledge of fundamental mechanical design concepts, mechanics of materials, design hand calculations, hydraulic and electrical disciplines - Knowledge in defining fluidic component design intent, lead analysis, support reviews, support procurement and validation in the all-product lifecycle - Previous proven working experience on fluidic mechanical components (valves, pumps, filters, pipes, sensors, fan, heat exchangers) and fluidic systems (fuel, oil, air) preferably in the aeronautical section - Fundamental knowledge of CAD (preferable Unigraphics) and Geometrical Dimensional & Tolerancing (GD&T) - Practical use of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook) - Great accountability/collaboration & interpersonal/communication skills - Capability to interface with internal departments and to manage technical relationships with external companies, suppliers and customers - Fluent in Italian and proficiency in written and oral English #LI-FF5 Settore: Ingegneria Ruolo: Ingegneria/Progettazione
