Fluid Simulation Engineer

Job Description Effectively conduct numerical and physical simulations for the development and accommodation of products. The job includes the planning, preparation, execution and presentation of projects e.g. for the simulation of fluid flows in continuous caster tundishes and moulds in order to develop products for these applications and for adaptation according to customer requirements. Scope Conducting numerical flow simulations Proposing new optimized designs for better steel quality Utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software tools such as OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent or COMSOL Multiphysics for the simulation of fluid flows in continuous caster tundishes and moulds. Developing and implementing algorithms for the optimization of fluid flow and heat transfer processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations are aligned with product development goals. Presenting results and recommendations to stakeholders, including customers, engineers, and management. Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues on simulation-related topics. Staying up-to-date with advancements in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software tools and methodologies.
