Job description
- Responsibility for the floral design and decoration of the entire hotel as well as the outdoor areas and guest rooms
- Assistance in the planning, organization, and implementation of all seasonal decoration concepts (e.g., Christmas, Easter, and other holidays)
- Conception, purchasing, and budget control of flowers, plants, and decoration materials
- Design and creation of floral arrangements, bouquets, table decorations, and floral concepts for our restaurants and public areas
- Planning and implementation of individual floral decorations for banquets, events, weddings, and exclusive occasions
- Care and maintenance of all flowers and plants throughout the hotel
- Coordination of floristry work and ensuring a first-class appearance at all times
- Completed apprenticeship as a Florist EFZ or a comparable vocational training
- Several years of professional experience in high-end floristry; experience in luxury hotels is an advantage
- Strong organizational talent and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities
- Creativity and a keen sense of aesthetics, colors, and current trends
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Very good communication skills and enjoyment of collaborating with different departments
- Physical resilience and enjoyment of practical work
- High quality standards, attention to detail, and a strong sense of excellence
