FLOOR FITTER

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all types of flooring and be proficient in cap n cove, Lvt, carpet fitting. The Fitter will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence in every project.

Duties

• Working in social housing and commercial jobs
• Able to install cap and cove, and comfortable with using a floor welder
• Be able to work alone and manage jobs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the fitting process, proposing effective solutions

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial and domestic flooring
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong Flooring skills with the ability to read and interpret schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately
