The Vernand Foundation, driven by values of equity and respect, is committed to serving people with intellectual disabilities to contribute to a more humane society, open to difference and capable of adapting to the needs of each individual. The Foundation is a non-profit organization, recognized as being of public utility and founded in 1972. The Childhood and Transition sector of the Vernand Foundation accompanies the development of nearly 200 students presenting with intellectual disabilities, including those with autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, or other developmental disorders. The Enseignant spécialisé will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized educational plans, providing individualized support to students, and collaborating with families and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student. The ideal candidate will have a degree in special education or a related field, experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
