You assess the quality of the meat, prepare it for sale or process it into meat and sausage products. For example, you cook, chop or smoke the meat and add seasoning and preservatives depending on the recipe. In addition to sausages, you also produce fine food products, ready-made meals and canned goods.

For the sale, you prepare, for example, roasts, schnitzels or minced meat and arrange sausages, delicatessen and salads in the sales counter. You advise the customers and sell the goods.
