Fleet Performance Engineer - Pitch & Electrical (m/f/d)

Job Description Summary The Troubleshooter Pitch & electrical role provides technical resolution to defects and issues on the wind turbines in operation. The role requires general understanding of wind turbines, and specific domain knowledge of pitch and electrical systems. Goal of the role is to bring availability levels of the fleet to the contractually agreed values and to minimize Return to Service time. As part of our Operations organization, you will be responsible for the technical resolution of defects and issues on wind turbines in operation. This includes troubleshooting and resolving pitch and electrical system-related problems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions. Key responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and resolve pitch and electrical system-related problems on wind turbines in operation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for defects and issues. • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of wind turbine systems, including pitch and electrical systems. • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that all activities are aligned with the overall business objectives. • Provide technical support to other teams as needed. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering). • 3+ years of experience in a similar role or related field. • Strong understanding of wind turbine systems, including pitch and electrical systems. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
