Fleet Operations Supervisor

Position Responsibilities: Implements and maintains a safe workplace program and ensures that safety is the highest priority Communicates professionally, both orally and in writing, with the National Science Foundation, station management, other contractors, and subordinates as needed to coordinate efficient and effective use of all Fleet Operations personnel and equipment. Plans, establishes goals, prioritizes and schedules work center tasks and work assignments. Receives requests and schedules work orders from various sources, including but not limited to, the National Science Foundation, station management, and other contractors. Coordinates with other departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Conducts regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Develops and implements training programs for Fleet Operations personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintains accurate records of all incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, including but not limited to, reporting and tracking of injuries, illnesses, and property damage. Provides guidance and support to subordinates as needed to ensure effective performance and job satisfaction. Ensures that all Fleet Operations personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently. Conducts regular meetings with the National Science Foundation, station management, and other contractors to discuss progress, goals, and any issues or concerns. Develops and implements corrective actions to address any identified hazards or deficiencies. Maintains a positive and professional work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and respect for all employees.
