Fleet Operations Specialist

Position Description:

Primerent, a company specializing in short and medium-term luxury car rentals, is seeking a resource to join its Fleet Team with a specific focus on cost control, authorizations, and technical management of maintenance and claims.

We are looking for a candidate with concrete experience in evaluating and managing repair quotes, coordinating maintenance, and overseeing claims processes, preferably gained at car rental companies, insurance companies, corporate fleets, or structured automotive entities.

The resource will work closely with the Fleet Manager and will play a key role in ensuring efficiency, cost control, and quality of interventions on the fleet.

Main Responsibilities

· Evaluation, verification, and approval (authority) of maintenance and repair quotes;

· control of technical intervention costs, with attention to consistency, appropriateness, and optimization;

· complete claims management, overseeing timelines and costs until closure;

· direct interface with workshops, body shops, adjusters, and insurance companies;

· monitoring and coordination of routine and extraordinary maintenance;

· technical verification of performed interventions and vehicle conditions;

· management and control of technical and economic documentation related to interventions;

· analysis of anomalies and proposal of corrective actions to improve efficiency and costs;

· timely updating of internal systems and tracking of activities.

Essential Requirements

· At least 2 years of experience in similar roles (quote control, maintenance or claims management);

· competence in the technical and economic evaluation of vehicle interventions;

· experience in coordinating with workshops, body shops, and insurance companies;

· strong attention to cost control and service quality;

· excellent precision in managing data, documents, and deadlines;

· good knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office suite;

· ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, maintaining priorities and control;

· driver's license B.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in the car rental or leasing sector;

· experience in insurance contexts or car claims management;

· knowledge of pricing logic and cost control in the automotive sector;

· familiarity with fleet management software.
