Fleet Manager - Parktown JHB

We are looking for a Fleet Manager with a background in the Car Rental Industry or Corporate. The ideal candidate will have good mechanical knowledge on cars as well as being able to complete reports weekly on Excel. The duties include accident investigation, ensuring fleet is up to scratch, road worthy and well maintained, whilst building relationships with parts suppliers and managing an on site mechanic. The fleet is 70 strong and requires someone who is able to make sure licenses, insurance policies and compliance are in order. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all vehicles, including maintenance schedules, mileage logs and any repairs or modifications made. This role also involves ensuring that all vehicles are properly insured and licensed, as well as managing the fleet's budget and making recommendations on how to optimize its use.
