Fleet Manager (m/w/d)

FlixTrain's fleet availability is crucial for a stable and reliable operation. As Fleet Manager (w/m/d), you are the central interface between operation, maintenance, and external partners. You ensure that vehicles are correctly put back into service after maintenance, availability is transparent, and vehicle deployment is optimally controlled even in case of disruptions.

About the role

• Central interface between operation, maintenance (ECM), and external vehicle partners
• Responsibility for putting vehicles back into service and deployment readiness after maintenance
• Surety of planned train formation and vehicle allocation during limited availability
• Monitoring of vehicle availability including failure and availability reporting
• Contact person for vehicle-related topics in ongoing operation (control center, operations)
• Temporary coordination of local issues in alignment with Fleet Deployment
• Maintenance and quality assurance of operational vehicle data in relevant IT systems
• Support during disturbance and crisis situations as well as the further development of fleet processes

About you

• Completed vocational training in the railway sector, ideally as a railway worker in operational service (EiB T)
• First experience in disposition or operations management in passenger rail transport
• Very good knowledge of traffic geography and the German rail network
• Solid technical understanding of railway vehicles
• Safe handling with MS Office as well as openness to operational IT systems
• Readiness for business trips within Germany
• In exceptional cases, readiness for weekend and night work
• Outstanding team and communication skills
