Fleet manager

Key Responsibilities (ANZSCO-aligned – Fleet Manager)
• Plan and follow up daily scheduling: allocate vehicles/drivers, manage shift coverage, and ensure delivery targets are met.
• Route and delivery operations oversight: support dispatch with route planning, monitor performance, manage delays/issues, and improve efficiency.
• Fleet maintenance management: coordinate servicing, repairs, inspections, WOF/COF, registration, tyres, and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Stakeholder and third-party coordination: liaise with customers, suppliers, mechanics/service agents, contractors, and other operational partners to resolve issues quickly and maintain service quality.
• Compliance and safety: ensure transport and workplace H&S processes are followed, including incident reporting, driver safety, and fatigue management procedures.
• Cost and performance management: monitor fuel, maintenance spend, utilisation, downtime, and support cost control and purchasing decisions.
• Records and reporting: maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports/KPIs to support management decisions.
• Continuous improvement: identify operational risks and implement improvements to systems, processes, and service delivery.
