As the Store Manager, you will lead a large, dynamic team and be accountable for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving strong commercial outcomes, and maintaining operational excellence. You will be the face of the store, responsible for fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the store reflects the latest in streetwear, lifestyle and fashion trends.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing team to achieve sales, service and operational goals.
- Recruit, onboard and develop team members, including succession planning for key roles.
- Build a culture focused on accountability, performance, and ongoing professional development.
- Provide regular coaching, feedback and recognition to support team growth and engagement.
- Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, compliance, cash handling, and rostering.
- Maintain excellence across stock control, inventory accuracy, shrinkage management, and store presentation.
- Ensure all policies, procedures and safety standards are consistently upheld.
- Drive the store’s financial performance, including sales growth, labour management and profitability.
- Analyse store results to identify opportunities to improve conversion, ATV, UPT and overall customer engagement.
- Implement sales strategies, promotional plans and commercial initiatives to maximise performance.
- Deliver an elevated, memorable customer experience that reflects the retailer’s premium positioning.
- Manage escalations and customer feedback professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Champion a service culture that creates loyal customers and repeat visitation.
- Oversee visual merchandising execution to ensure alignment with seasonal direction and commercial priorities.
- Manage stock flow, replenishment, product launches and back-of-house standards.
- Ensure the store is always optimised for commercial impact and customer engagement.
- Act as the primary leader for the location, contributing to long-term commercial success.
- Monitor market trends and customer behaviours to inform store strategies.
- Implement broader retail initiatives and support the execution of brand-wide directives.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and operational efficiency.
- 3–5 years of Store Management experience within fashion, streetwear or high-volume specialty retail.
- Proven success leading large teams and delivering strong commercial results.
- High-level customer experience and service skills.
- Strong operational capability, including stock management and compliance.
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, constantly evolving retail environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching and organisational skills.
