Fixture & Tooling Engineer

The Fixture & Tooling Engineer is responsible for the design, development, release, and support of assembly, test, and rework fixtures required for production line transfer and sustaining manufacturing. The role ensures that tooling and fixtures enable robust assembly processes, effective detection and prevention methods, and safe, ergonomic production operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and release assembly, test, and rework fixtures to support production line transfers Develop and maintain fixture designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tooling and fixtures into manufacturing processes Provide technical support for the installation, operation, and maintenance of tooling and fixtures Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and fixtures Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
