Fixed Income Proprietary Trader – APAC (JGBs, KTBs, ACGBs) Rates & Bond Futures

Location : Singapore AP Capital is a diversified global investment firm trading across equities, commodities, FX, and fixed income (bonds, credit & rates). We employ market-neutral strategies to reduce market volatility exposure and deliver consistent, risk-adjusted returns. Our aim is to enhance liquidity and long-term capital efficiency. We are expanding our Macro Rates team and are looking for a Proprietary Trader with deep expertise in Japan, Korea, and Australia interest rate markets. This role will focus on trading JGBs, KTBs, ACGBs, rates & bond futures across APAC markets. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include: • Trading JGBs, KTBs, ACGBs, rates & bond futures across APAC markets. • Developing and implementing market-neutral trading strategies. • Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for profitable trades. • Collaborating with the Macro Rates team to enhance liquidity and long-term capital efficiency. • Maintaining accurate records of all trades and transactions. • Staying up-to-date with market developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience as a Proprietary Trader in fixed income markets. • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. • Experience trading JGBs, KTBs, ACGBs, rates & bond futures across APAC markets. • Knowledge of market-neutral trading strategies and risk management techniques. • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters), or other financial data platforms.
