Job description
We are seeking skilled Fitter / Welders for permanent positions across New Zealand, supporting industrial and site-based projects. Key Responsibilities Mechanical fitting and maintenance of equipment and structures Welding (MIG, TIG, and/or Stick depending on site requirements) Fabrication and installation of steel components Reading drawings and welding specifications Maintaining safety and quality standards on site Essential Requirements Trade qualification as a Fitter / Welder or overseas equivalent Experience in mechanical fitting and welding techniques Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 25 kg Keywords: MIG, TIG, Stick, fabrication, installation, steel components, drawings, welding specifications, safety, quality, industrial, site-based, mechanical fitting, welding techniques, industry standards, regulations, physical fitness, lifting
