RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Fitter & Turner to join our client's team in the industrial manufacturing sector. Our client is a leading company known for their high-quality products and commitment to excellence. As a Fitter & Turner, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of components for heavy machinery and equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
• Fabricate components for breakdowns and planned maintenance tasks
• Operate and maintain precision measuring equipment
• Setup and operate various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Perform drilling and machining tasks
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the workshop
• Adhere to safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Grade 12
• N4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Fitter & Turner Trade Test Certificate
• 5 - 10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge and experience in operating machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and quality
