Job Description:
- Responsible for monitoring, verifying, validating and registering the execution of services related to pavement recovery, taking into account technical norms and procedures defined by the client. Additionally, must perform control of equipment calibration involved in field tests and sample removal for testing. This professional should accompany services in the field.
- Fiscalize on-site the restoration of the pavement
- Verify if the executed service corresponds to the approved executive project
- Check fronts of service, execution methods and construction sequence
- Analyze and sign Service Release Sheets
- Geometric and dimensional control
- Conference on: Apparent thicknesses / Executed areas / Surface regularity / Alignments and inclinations
- Support for quantity levelling for measurement
- Visual and operational inspection - Finishing / Apparent compaction / Visual segregations / Construction defects / Record non-conformities in the field
- Verify technical conformity of executed services with approved projects and current norms and contractual specifications.
- Ensure the quality of materials used and correct execution of construction processes.
- Document activities performed in the field, including photographic records and detailed technical reports.
- Perform quantity control of works, supporting the responsible engineer in monthly measurements of contracted quantities, and communicate occurrences on site (non-conformities, project modifications, etc.), verifying realized quantities by contractors, through trena, starting and ending stakes, and activating support from the topography team.
- Acknowledge services of technological control, body extraction and sample assignments to similar functions whenever necessary or requested by management.
- Notify the contractor, stop or release service fronts, reject or approve tests, intermediate project doubts, representing the responsible engineer on high-complexity work sites.
- Report deviations or non-conformities found during service execution and propose corrective actions.
- Contribute to eliminating workplace safety risk situations, complying with internal norms and established procedures and assisting the Safety Technician in investigating the use of safety equipment by third-party companies.
