Firmware Engineer

LHH This is an interesting opportunity to join the Technical Department of a well-known multinational production company, one of the most prominent in its reference sector, located in Vicenza. Responsibilities The resource, reporting directly to the Firmware Manager, will be responsible for: - Designing, developing, and testing embedded firmware on microcontrollers; - Integrating firmware-hardware collaborating with the electronic team to ensure performance and reliability; - Developing software security on embedded devices (Functional Safety); - Writing development plans and product roadmaps; - Writing technical documentation and validation plans; - Following and supporting certification iterations. Profile Candidates will be evaluated for the iteration in possession of the following requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Computer Science; - Excellent knowledge of C/C++; - Experience of at least 1-2 years of firmware development on embedded devices; - Knowledge of digital and analog electronics and printed circuit boards; - Competence in testing, validation of hardware/firmware for embedded devices; - Analytical skills, testing, debugging, and analyzing problems; - Familiarity with the use of electronic laboratory equipment. Precision, determination, result-oriented, solid team working skills, and excellent interpersonal skills are characteristics that complete the sought-after profile.
