Job Title Firewall / Network Security Engineer Experience 8–12 Years Location As per business requirement (Pune, Mumbai) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Firewall / Network Security Engineer to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall and network security infrastructure. The role involves handling production environments, security policies, incident response, and ensuring high availability and compliance. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and manage enterprise firewalls and network security infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to firewall and network security infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks and implement mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including incident response plans, security policies, and compliance reports. Ensure high availability of critical systems and services by designing and implementing redundant architectures and backup systems. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 8–12 years of experience in firewall and network security engineering Strong understanding of firewall and network security technologies, protocols, and standards Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and log analysis tools Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR Knowledge of incident response procedures and best practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
