FinOps

Job Description We are building a Cloud Team that will change the way technology operates at UNIQA. If you want to work at the intersection of technology, data, and business, while having a real impact on the development of the cloud environment in one of the largest insurance groups in Poland, this role is for you. You will join a team responsible for developing Cloud platforms and migrating the organization to the public cloud, collaborating with experts from Poland and the UNIQA Group. This position is for people who enjoy understanding how technology impacts business, can analyze data, and want to co-create a modern cloud environment based on Azure and AWS. What will you do? You will influence how cloud services are used in the organization and help teams make informed technological decisions. In practice, this means you will: analyze the costs of cloud services and identify areas for optimization, develop and maintain FinOps processes and tools, create dashboards and reports for technical and business teams, collaborate with IT, DevOps, Finance, and IT Governance teams, build standards for cloud cost management, service tagging, and cost allocation, support the development of FinOps competencies in the organization, co-create the Cloud services roadmap and participate in defining the platform's development direction, coordinate cooperation with infrastructure teams and external vendors, support services based on the Azure platform, monitor service quality, SLAs, and the stability of business-critical environments. Requirements You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in FinOps or cloud cost management, you know the Azure and/or AWS environments, you can analyze financial and technical data and draw specific recommendations from it, you are familiar with chargeback, showback, resource tagging, and cost allocation concepts, you work fluently with Power BI and Excel, you are comfortable collaborating with technical and business teams, you communicate in English at a level that enables daily cooperation with the UNIQA Group, you know Agile, and knowledge of ITIL will be an additional asset, you can translate complex technological issues into the language of business benefits.
