At Autowelt Schmidt, you'll ensure with your team that BMW- and MINI-accounting is spot on every month: from ongoing bookings to billing and year-end closing in SAP. Aufgaben

Your tasks

• You process ongoing business transactions in SAP – from individual booking to final closing – and ensure that the numbers add up at one of the largest automotive dealership networks in the Ruhr region.
• You take over monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings and provide the basis for commercial decisions within the company.
• You keep your accounts in order and keep an eye on billing, so open items don't linger and cash flow is smooth.
• You work independently in a team without a direct team leader and report directly to the commercial manager.
• You shape the future of accounting: processes that are still paper-based today become digital and leaner under your guidance.
• You work according to BMW and other manufacturer standards, staying up-to-date professionally at all times.
• You coordinate with sales or service management as needed.

Qualifikation

Your profile

• You have a completed commercial education and professional experience as a financial accountant – ideally in the automotive industry.
• You are proficient in SAP – not just superficially, but so you can start working right away.
• You know debtors, creditors, billing, and closings from your daily work.
• You work structured, independently, and reliably – even when no one is watching over your shoulder.
• You feel at home in MS Office and won't let a full inbox throw you off track.
• You think in numbers and recognize when something's not right before it becomes a problem.
• You are generally open to full-time work.
• You have experience with BMW or MINI? That's great. More like VW, Audi, or Škoda? That works too.
• You're eager to process things, not just execute them, but also think and improve them.
