Financial Accountant with Assistant Tasks of the Management (m/f/d)

Tasks
- Processing payment transactions with creditors and debtors, including monitoring outstanding items and dunning, as well as international payments.
- Checking, posting, and booking current business transactions in the accounting system.
- Retrieving and booking bank statements, cash management, and bank postings.
- Preparation of the VAT advance return as well as monitoring and payment of customs and import sales tax.
- Processing of direct debits, regular closings, and monthly booking and reconciliation work.
- Supporting the management in day-to-day operations (e.g., preparation of documents, filing, re-submission, travel documents).
- Processing and forwarding incoming management mail and independently handling ongoing written correspondence, including correspondence with external partners.
Qualification
- Completed commercial training, ideally with further training in financial accounting.
- Professional experience in financial accounting, especially in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Safe handling of common IT software and MS Office, experience with Microsoft Navision would be desirable
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as basic knowledge of English
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style as well as high accuracy in dealing with numbers.
- Confidentiality and professional appearance in contact with internal and external contacts.
