As a Financial Accountant*in / Accounting Manager*in (m/w/d), you will take over operational accounting and ensure stable, clean financial processes. We consciously bring the current accounting back into the company. You will work closely with our Finance Lead and ensure that the operational foundation is in place.

# Your tasks at a glance:

• Operational accounting: Independent responsibility for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  General ledger: Maintenance, reconciliation and monitoring of the general ledger.
• Open items: Monitoring, clarification and follow-up of receivables and liabilities.
• Monthly closing: Structured preparation of all relevant documents for the monthly closing in cooperation with the tax consultant and controlling.
• Accounting: Checking, posting and reconciling incoming and outgoing invoices as well as carrying out and monitoring intercompany reconciliations.
• Accounting software: Safe handling of DATEV as central accounting software.
• Notifications and compliance: Responsibility for monthly and annual notifications, e.g. sales tax advance returns, summary reports and statistical reports.
• Communication: Clarification of invoice queries with customers* and coordination with internal teams, tax consultants and external payroll accounting.
• Workflow and approval processes: Support and further development of approval and workflow tools for the structured pre-registration of accounting data.
• Process stability: Ensuring clear, comprehensible and efficient processes in day-to-day business.
• Optimization: Identification of pragmatic improvements as well as automation and efficiency potentials in the finance processes.
• Collaboration with Controlling: Close coordination with controlling during monthly and annual financial statements as well as during reporting processes.

Job requirements

• Qualification: Completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk, industrial clerk or office clerk.
• Experience: Several years of experience in operational accounting including general ledger.
• Independence: You work in a structured, reliable manner and do not need close management in day-to-day business.
• Efficiency: You perform operational tasks in a concentrated and clean manner.
• Responsibility: You take ownership of your area and meet deadlines.
• Digital understanding: You work safely with common accounting tools and have a basic understanding of digital processes.
