Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant for our Finance team in Munich. In this role, you will independently manage the ongoing bookkeeping in our ERP system (Odoo), prepare monthly payroll, and process travel and expense reports for our employees. You will work closely with our Head of Finance on budget planning and variance analysis, maintain cost allocation for our funded projects, and create reports for management, always with a clear focus on accuracy, structure, and reliable financial processes during our growth phase.

Your Tasks

• Independent management of ongoing bookkeeping in our ERP system (Odoo), including account assignment, document entry, and account reconciliation

• Preparation and processing of monthly payroll in cooperation with HR, as well as checking and reimbursement of travel and expense reports

• Support for the Head of Finance in creating and continuously updating budget planning and in variance analysis

• Maintenance of cost allocation for ongoing funded projects, as well as preparation of documents for funding applications and accountability reports (including EU funded projects)

• Creation of monthly statistics and reports for management

• Support in cross-departmental projects in the finance area, e.g., in the further development of internal processes and systems

What you bring

• Completed university degree or a commercial apprenticeship in accounting/finance

• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting

• Proficient knowledge of the Odoo ERP system required

• Knowledge of accounting according to HGB and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS)

• Sense of responsibility and structured way of working

• Fluent German and good English skills

About us

QuantumDiamonds GmbH, headquartered in Munich, develops and produces inspection systems for semiconductors based on quantum sensing. The company was founded in 2022 as a spin-off from the Technical University of Munich and uses nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond to visualize electrical currents with micrometer accuracy within advanced 2.5D and 3D chip architectures. Nine of the ten largest semiconductor manufacturers in the world are already working with QuantumDiamonds, with systems in use in Europe, the USA, and Asia. The company is investing 152 million Euros in the construction of the world's first production facility for quantum sensing-based inspection systems, funded as part of the European Chips Act.
