Financial Accountant (m/w/d) with Controlling Focus

In order to ensure that our social offers can be reliably implemented and further developed, a stable and professionally established administration plays a central role. Our accounting is directly located under the management and forms the financial backbone of our organisation.

Due to our continuous growth, we would like to expand our administration team and are looking for an engaged person in the field of Financial Accounting with Controlling Focus, who, together with our existing team, reliably steers, analyses, and develops financial processes.

Tasks

• You take over the ongoing financial accounting and record all business transactions and income and expenses.
• You review, check, and record incoming and outgoing invoices and ensure a proper documentation of all accounting records.
• You monitor financial transactions, payment inflows and outflows, and keep track of open claims and debt collection.
• You work on the creation of monthly and annual statements and supports the creation of balance sheets and income and loss statements.
• You create business economic evaluations, reports, and key figures to support the management.
• You analyse financial developments and actively participate in controlling and planning processes.
• You support the further development and optimisation of our accounting and administrative processes.
• You work closely with the management and administration and contribute to ensuring that financial structures are transparent, stable, and future-oriented.
• If necessary, you also support in the area of salary and wage accounting and have the corresponding processes in mind.

Qualification

• You have a completed education or qualification in the field of accounting, finance, taxation, or business administration.
• You have several years of experience in financial accounting and ideally also insights into controlling or business economic evaluations.
• You bring a good understanding of accounting, tax, and business economic relationships.
• You work very carefully, structured, and responsibly and have a high standard for accuracy and quality.
• You are proficient in the safe handling of common accounting software and MS Office.
• You work independently, reliably, and solution-oriented and take responsibility for your area of work.
• You bring a hands-on mentality and are interested in shaping administrative structures and processes in a growing organisation.
