Financial Advisor for Heavy Industry (m/f/d)

Authority develops an industry information platform that connects expert knowledge with data to improve the quality of online news and forecasts on economic, financial, and business developments.

We are looking for a Financial Advisor for Heavy Industry (m/f/d) who is currently active in the German market and possesses up-to-date market knowledge. This is a flexible, paid consulting activity of up to 2 hours per month.

Your Responsibilities

• Short written or recorded comments on current developments, market changes, and probable business impacts.
• Reviewing articles, reports, and forecast assumptions for technical accuracy, particularly regarding investment and project financing, industrial cash flows, commodity and energy risks, working capital, refinancing, and production investments.
• Contextualizing the practical consequences for companies, investors, and decision-makers.
• Contributions that may appear in Authority content and in leading industry media.
• At suitable opportunities, additional market advisory mandates for companies from our client base.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Current activity in the German market and well-founded, up-to-date local market knowledge.
• Direct experience with key financial, business, or investment decisions in this sector.
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
• A valid LinkedIn profile with relevant professional experience.

Conditions

• Independent consulting contract.
• Remote within Germany.
• Up to 2 paid consulting hours per month.
• Flexible tasks, mainly short comments and occasional discussions.
• Additional consulting projects may be offered separately depending on suitability and client demand.
