Financial Services — General Ledger Accounting - Senior Associate

Role Summary PwC is seeking experienced Senior Accountants to support the accounting and controllership operations for a leading company in the real estate, mortgage servicing, and lending sector . This role is part of PwC’s global Managed Services delivery model and will focus on executing high-quality accounting processes, financial close, and reporting activities in a complex financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience , combined with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. * Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. * Support the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures. * Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards. * Identify and resolve accounting issues. * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. * Participate in special projects as needed. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. * 3-6 years of relevant accounting experience. * Strong understanding of US GAAP. * Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. * Experience in the real estate, mortgage servicing, or lending sector is a plus. * CPA or working towards CPA is a plus.
