Financial Crime Analyst

SkyCity Adelaide is currently looking for Financial Crime Analysts to join our Financial Crime team. About the Opportunity This role sits at the centre of SkyCity Adelaide's financial crime compliance efforts, leading investigations across Due Diligence, Transaction Monitoring and KYC to ensure the organisation meets its AML/CTF obligations. You'll assess and escalate suspicious activity, prepare clear and accurate reports, and contribute to SMR submissions while working closely with internal teams. Key Responsibilities: • Lead investigations into potential financial crime, utilising expertise in Due Diligence, Transaction Monitoring and KYC; • Conduct thorough reviews of customer information and transaction data to identify potential red flags; • Prepare comprehensive and well-structured reports detailing findings and recommendations; • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure effective communication and escalation of suspicious activity; • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and training programs to enhance financial crime risk management. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, law); • 2+ years' experience in financial services or a related industry; • Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations and compliance requirements; • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
