Financial Controller

The Company My client is a large ASX listed company that operates in the financial services sectors. The Group function for NZ is based in Auckland but this business has a large number of operating companies throughout the country whereby management run the local business, retaining the successful formulae of knowledge and relationships. These individual companies operate with their own Board structure and have autonomy to run but the ability to leverage the capability of National Group when required. The role of Financial Controller is responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic guidance to the company, ensuring that all financial activities are properly managed and controlled. This includes preparing and presenting financial reports, managing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
