Financial Controller (Remote, EST hours required)

The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join our growing team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This is a critical role that will help drive the financial strategy and ensure the long-term success of the company. This is a fully remote position with EST hours required. Responsibilities: * Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. * Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP. * Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. * Develop and maintain the company's budget and forecast. * Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast. * Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws. * Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals. * Implement and maintain internal controls. * Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance. * Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. * CPA certification preferred. * 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial experience. * Experience with SaaS business models preferred. * Strong understanding of GAAP. * Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
