Financial Controller (m/f/d)

Behind the Carhartt WIP brand stands WIP Trading AG. Our Swiss corporate group began in the early nineties as a licensee and European distribution partner of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt. Since then, WIP has been developing its own Carhartt WIP collections based on American originals.

We are looking for you as a Financial Controller (m/f/d) for our location in Weil am Rhein, as soon as possible.

Tasks

• You are responsible for the execution and continuous development of our controlling processes
• You actively participate in budgeting and forecasting, and further develop these processes
• You conduct variance analyses and derive concrete recommendations for action from them
• You create, optimize, and monitor KPI dashboards and reports in Power BI
• You ensure consistent and data-based standards for reporting and analysis
• You act as a sparring partner for specialist departments on business management issues
• You support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• You are responsible for the cost accounting of sales channels and are responsible for its maintenance and further development

Qualification

• You have completed a degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/finance or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of relevant professional experience in controlling
• You are proficient in MS Office and ideally have experience with MS Power BI and MS Dynamics Business Central
• You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• You have a strong understanding of business interrelationships and a high affinity for numbers
• You work proactively, structured, and independently
• You convince with strong communication skills and act as a business partner on equal footing with various specialist departments
