Financial Controller (m/w/d) with Focus on Accounting

We are looking for an engaged or engaging new colleague for a manufacturing company:

Tasks

Financial Controlling & Analysis

• Numerical Insight: You analyze cost structures, perform profitability calculations and recalculate costs to uncover optimization potential.
• KPIs & Reporting: You prepare relevant financial key figures (e.g. Working Capital, Cashflow) thoroughly, conduct Soll-Ist comparisons and derive concrete recommendations from them.
• Decision-Making Documents: For the management team, you create informative reports and strategic decision-making documents.

Planning & Closures

• Foresight: You actively support budgeting, forecast creation, and integrated liquidity planning.
• Closure Security: You are responsible for the proper recording of all business transactions (including separations/reserves) and create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.

Processes & Interfaces

• Process Optimization: You drive the further development, digitalization, and optimization of our existing accounting and controlling processes forward.
• Interface Function: You act as a central, competent point of contact for our external auditors and tax consultants and bring your expertise into interdisciplinary projects.

Qualification

Fundamental Qualification

• Fundamental Education: You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on Business Administration, Finance or Controlling, possess a commercial education or equivalent qualification.
• Professional Experience: You look back on several years of fundamental professional experience in finance or controlling and move confidently within the HGB environment.

IT & System Competence

• Tool Security: Handling common ERP and reporting systems is second nature to you.
• Plus Point: If you already have experience with DATEV, that's a clear plus (but not a criterion for failure).
