Financial Controller / HR Financial Controller (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Financial Controller / HR Financial Controller (m/w/d) at our client's location in Norderstedt.

The role combines classical financial control with operational proximity, reporting, KPI analyses, and international cooperation. We are not looking for someone who only handles numbers, but rather an analytical strong personality that understands data, recognizes connections, and derives reliable decision-making bases for management and departments from it.

Aufgaben

In this position, you will actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure that numbers are not only correct but also informative.

You will create forecasts, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses and support important business decisions across various departments. This includes analyzing and evaluating operational and financial KPIs, where data is translated into concrete insights.

Another focus lies in cash flow management: you will support the monitoring and processing of open receivables and work closely with sales and internal interfaces to professionally accompany international payment and collection processes.

You will also take responsibility for the creditor process and ensure that it runs safely, audit-proof, and ICS-compliant. You will also structure yourself into the internal control system and contribute to ensuring that processes are reliable and transparent.

Qualifikation

You hold a completed degree in business administration, economics, finance, controlling or a comparable financial qualification with corresponding emphasis.

Important is several years of professional experience in controlling or a similar financial function, ideally in an internationally oriented company. You work structured, analytically and independently and maintain an overview even when multiple topics land on the table at the same time.

A secure handling of Excel and PowerPoint is assumed. Experience with ERP systems like SAP FI/CO or comparable solutions as well as knowledge in BI tools like Power BI or SAP BO are advantageous.

Since the role is internationally integrated, you need very good German and English skills in writing and speaking. You fit personally if you communicate strongly, connectively and assertively, without losing diplomatic flair.
