Financial Controller

Role: Financial Controller Location: Bangalore, India We are partnering with a leading IT services and solutions provider headquartered in Singapore, with operations spanning multiple countries. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: * Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets. * Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Accounting and Reporting: * Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). * Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. * Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Internal Controls and Compliance: * Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets. * Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies. * Manage internal and external audits. Treasury Management: * Oversee cash management and banking relationships. * Manage working capital effectively. * Ensure optimal utilization of financial resources. Team Leadership: * Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship. * Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. * Drive continuous improvement in financial processes. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is preferred. * Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar leadership role. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial regulations. * Experience with financial planning and analysis. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to lead and manage a team effectively. * Experience working in the IT services industry is a plus.
