Description of Position: Financial Director

Purpose of the position:

Lead the financial strategy of the hotel, ensuring efficient budget management, cost control, tax compliance, and growth projection, aligned with luxury hospitality standards and Paradero values.

Main responsibilities:

· Design, control, and evaluate the general budget of the hotel

· Ensure tax and legal compliance before Mexican authorities

· Supervise the accounting area, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury

· Present monthly financial reports to the Executive Committee

· Control cash flow and optimize operational profitability

· Coordinate internal and external audits

· Support strategic business planning from a financial perspective

· Manage financial contracts, insurance, taxes, and fiscal obligations

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (master's desired)

· Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management in luxury hotels

· Mastery of Mexican tax laws, auditing, and budget management

· Advanced English and hotel ERP management

Tech Skills:

· Mastery of general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and budget control.

· Knowledge of updated Mexican fiscal and labor legislation.

· Intermediate/advanced Excel skills (dynamic tables, formulas, reconciliations).

· Inglés intermediate desired (reading financial reports).
