Financial Business Controller (m/w/d)

An international company with a broad portfolio and a clear growth strategy is seeking an engaged personality who not only understands numbers, but also enjoys shaping processes actively.

In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and analyzing investments and will be a thought leader for optimizations. You will work closely with management and various departments together and have the opportunity to bring your expertise into a dynamic environment.

Tasks

• You will independently manage one or more units within the company group in the area of investment controlling.
• You will create detailed analyses, reports, forecasts, and budget plans that serve as a basis for strategic decisions.
• You will develop and present decision-making proposals for various management committees.
• You will advise departmental teams and corporate leadership on economic issues and highlight optimization potential.
• You will coordinate and communicate between different company departments and take leadership roles in company-wide projects.
• You will promote analytical competence within business areas and subsidiaries through targeted training.

Qualification

• You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering – ideally with a focus on finance or controlling.
• You have several years of experience in controlling, preferably in an internationally oriented industrial company.
• You bring expertise in the areas of investment controlling, cost accounting and external accounting.
• You are proficient in German and English in writing and speaking very well.
• You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented and appear sovereign and professional.
