Financial Analyst (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Financial Analyst / Controller (m/w/d) for our client, a leading European family-owned company with international presence.

The position offers the opportunity to work closely with Senior Management and the Board of Directors on central financial, strategic, and operational issues. We are seeking an analytically strong personality who can structure complex matters and derive sound recommendations from them.

Aufgaben

Your Tasks

• Analyse and evaluation of business cases, investments, and strategic projects
• Preparation of Financial Models, scenario analyses, and economic calculations
• Analysis of operational and financial developments within international companies
• Development of decision-making templates and recommendations for Senior Management
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
• Further development of controlling methods, reporting structures, and steering instruments
• Performance analysis and development of relevant KPIs and control logics
• Closely working with departments and international subsidiaries

Qualifikation

Your Profile

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field with a focus on finance, controlling or accounting
• First relevant work experience in an analytical environment, for example in Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Transaction Services, Valuation, Equity Research or Corporate Finance
• Very good knowledge of financial modeling, investment calculations and company valuation
• Outstanding analytical thinking and high numerical affinity
• Able to quickly grasp complex business models and questions and structure them in a logical manner
• High level of self-initiative, sense of responsibility and implementation strength
• Safe appearance and excellent communication skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools like Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud is an advantage
• Fluent German and English language skills in writing and speaking
