Job description

This newly created role offers the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, data analysis, and process improvement within a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting Queensland communities.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist with month-end reporting, preparing dashboards that consolidate P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow data.
- Deliver performance reports for multi-site operations and provide variance analysis.
- Analyse complex datasets (5–6 connected tables) to provide meaningful business insights.
- Partner with the finance team to identify and deliver process improvements.
- Develop scalable reporting tools with clear process documentation.
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, formulas, dashboards, charts).
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to consolidate financial and operational data into meaningful reports.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain insights to both finance and non-finance staff.
- Experience with Xero.
- Background in Finance/Accounting (Financial Analyst, Management Accountant, or Reporting Analyst).
